The latest on the COVIDSET 2009.
As we approach the conference dates,
arrangements and interest in the conference have picked up
significantly. There are now 147 registered participants including several;
Vice- chancellors from all geographic regions of the continent.
Registered also are representatives of international organisations who
have expressed interest in participation.
The ANSTI Secretariat has also introduced three
important parallel events which will be of great importance for Science
and technology education in
Africa
. These include: promotion of e-learning for teaching and Research
in Science Engineering and Technology; the mainstreaming of
HIV/AIDS in science and engineering curricula; and the Use of Diaspora
Scientists in teaching and collaborative research in Africa.
For those who require alternative
